Michael Sloan
Mr. Sloans career includes more than 30 years in international sales, marketing, and business development with defense, aerospace and high tech industries. He served in the US Navy attaining the rank of Commander prior to joining GE Aircraft Engines as Regional General Manager for International Sales in Korea. He subsequently joined Herley Industries, an aerospace supplier, where he helped create the first flight test center in China in support of Chinas Advanced Regional Jet (ARJ21). In 2005, Mr. Sloan joined Hanjin Group (parent to Korean Air) where he served as Senior Advisor to the Chairman and was responsible for China aerospace business development. He has business relationships with senior officers at Boeing, Lockheed Martin, BAE, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, China Eastern, Air China, and many other global aerospace companies. Mr. Sloan has a BA in International Affairs from the University of Southern California, an MBA from Rutgers University, and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from GE. He is fluent in Korean and Mandarin Chinese.
